We formerly franchised a similar concept "The CD Exchange" from the late eighties until we sold in 1994. After a three year non-compete we opened the first of the present generation of stores under the name "Take 2". After years of evolving the concept, we formed our current company to franchise this concept under the name "Mega Media Xchange" in January of 2006. We maintain our principal place of business at 728 Lombardi Ave., Green Bay, Wisconsin 54304.  We  maintain sales offices at our principal place of business and in North Carolina at 301 Hunting Horn Lane, PO Box 176, Southern Pines, NC 28388.  We do not use any sales brokers or other sales organizations. Our Training store is currently located in Greenfield, WI. We conduct business under the name and marks:

Scott P. Stephani, Founder and President

Mr. Stephani is our Founder, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors, and has held those positions since our inception in January 2006.  From January 2003 until December 2005, Mr. Stephani was Vice President of Operations for PrePlayed Entertainment Group, Inc. and a Director. From November 1997 until December 2002, Mr. Stephani was President of Take 2 Entertainment, in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  From December 1989 until July 1994, Mr. Stephani was the Founder, President and CEO of CDX Audio Development, Inc. a franchisor of stores under the name “CD Exchange” based in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

 
 

Douglas M. Kinney, Executive VP and General Counsel

Mr. Kinney is our Executive Vice President, head of franchise sales and a Director. He has held those positions since our inception in January 2006.  Mr. Kinney is also President of Franchise Sales Associates, a consulting company that he founded in 1992.  From February 2, 2002 until April 1, 2004, Mr. Kinney was Chief Franchise Officer for DVDPlay, Inc., Los Gatos, California and a consultant for that company from April 1, 2004 until January 1, 2005.  From January 2000 to March 2000, Mr. Kinney was Vice President Franchise Development for Sevant, Inc. in San Jose, California and a consultant for that company from April 2000 to October 2000.  Mr. Kinney was Vice President Franchise Sales for Red Robin International, Inc. in Greenwood Village, Colorado from April 1998 to January 2000.  In addition, Mr. Kinney was also a Vice President of Blockbuster Entertainment from September 1987 to January 1992 and a Vice President of Hardee’s Food Systems, Inc. from September 1982 until January 1987 and Associate General Counsel from July 1975 until April 1982.
